WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – A concert featuring regional bands at the Digital Arts Experience in White Plains June 14 will benefit the victims of the Boston Marathon bombing in April.
Jon Chattman, founder of A-Sides Music, is partnering with other local artists, such as Last One Out, a Northeast College band, Ionia and Bearbones. The concert will be from 7 to 10 p.m. June 14 at the Digital Arts Experience on 170 Hamilton Ave.
“Boston is one of my favorite cities in the world,” Chattman said in a statement. “I wanted to do something to help. I believe in the healing power of music, and look forward to spreading love to Boston in June.”
About A-Sides with Jon Chattman:
Jon Chattman’s music series features celebrities and artists (established or not) from all genres performing a track, and discussing what it means to them. This informal series focuses on the artist making art in a low-threatening, extremely informal (sometime humorous) way. No bells, no whistles – just the music performed in a random, low-key setting followed by an unrehearsed chat. In an industry where everything often gets overblown and over manufactured, Jon strives for a refreshing change.
